Please note that tickets purchased through the webshop cannot be used on airport buses.

Some tickets available in the webshop are valid for other modes of transportation, including:

When you purchase a single ticket or 24-hour ticket in the webshop, you can choose how you'd like to receive your ticket. You can link the ticket to a Skyss card, have it sent via SMS or email, or print it out on paper.

When you purchase a youth ticket or season ticket for 7, 30, or 180 days in the webshop, the ticket must always be on a Skyss card.

The Skyss card is a physical travel card for those traveling in Vestland. When you purchase a ticket in the webshop, the Skyss card can serve as your ticket.

• How to use the Skyss card
  Create an account in the Skyss webshop and register your Skyss card.
• Purchase the ticket you want in the webshop and link it to your Skyss card.
• Remember to always bring your Skyss card when you travel. If you're traveling in the Bergen area, you don’t need to show your Skyss card when boarding. If you're traveling outside the Bergen area, always show your Skyss card to the driver or crew when boarding. You can find more information about boarding here.
• When there's a ticket inspection, show your Skyss card and any documentation if you’ve purchased a discounted ticket. For example, a student ID if you've purchased a student ticket.

Note: When you buy a youth ticket or season ticket for 7, 30, or 180 days in the webshop, the ticket must always be on a Skyss card.

When you purchase a ticket in the webshop, you can choose when the ticket will be valid.

You can buy tickets for journeys starting up to 30 days in advance. When you purchase the ticket, you select the date and time from which the ticket will be valid. For example, you can buy the ticket in advance for the time you plan to travel the following day.

In the webshop, you can also purchase a single ticket or 24-hour ticket for someone else, such as a child or family member.

When you buy the ticket, you can send it via SMS or email to the other person, print the ticket out so they can take it with them, or link the ticket to their Skyss card.

You can buy tickets for journeys starting up to 30 days in advance. When purchasing the ticket, you select the date and time from which the ticket will be valid.

You create an account the first time you use the webshop. You can also use your existing Facebook or Google account to log in.

In the webshop, you can purchase single tickets, 24-hour tickets, the youth ticket and season tickets for 7, 30 or 180 days.

When you purchase a single ticket or 24-hour ticket, you can choose how you'd like to receive your ticket:

• text message (QR code)
• e-mail (QR code)
• printout (QR code)

When you purchase a youth ticket or season ticket, the ticket must be on a Skyss card.

Pay using a debit card or Vipps. Your card will be registered for your first purchase, and the webshop will remember it for next time.

There is no special discount for using the webshop. You receive the same discounts as elsewhere, such as student, senior, and group discount. 

Remember to always bring documentation showing that you qualify to use a ticket with a discounted price. 

Yes, you can buy a youth ticket in the webshop and have it on a Skyss card.

Please remember that if your journey involves travel on trains, express buses or express boats,  you need to show a receipt from the webshop. 

No, it is not possible to buy return boat tickets in the webshop.

Yes, you can buy tickets for others by creating sub-users. Here, you can link other Skyss travel cards, belonging to children or other family members. Then, when you buy a ticket, you select their Skyss travel card under "delivery". You can also buy single tickets and 24-hour tickets and send the ticket/give the ticket code to the person who is travelling. Please note that you can only register one Skyss travel card per user/sub-user.

The webshop will always display a list of the tickets you have purchased, but those that are still active, and past purchases.

You can choose to have your ticket from the webshop on a Skyss card, printed out, or sent by email or SMS. Remember to bring identification if you have purchsed a ticket with a discounted price, such as a student or senior ticket.

You do not need to show your ticket from the webshop when boarding a bus or boat in the Bergen area. When travelling outside the Bergen area, you must always show your ticket to the driver or crew when boarding.

Regardless of where you travel in Vestland, drivers, boat crew, and inspectors can request to see your ticket at any time. You can find more information about boarding here. 

Present your proof of ticket to the inspector, Skyss card, printout, SMS or e-mail. The inspector will check with the webshop to verify that you have a valid ticket.

If you buy a ticket in the webshop and your journey includes other bus operators besides Skyss, you need to bring a receipt. You can either print this or send it to yourself from the webshop. 

Information about which Skyss tickets are valid on express buses.

If you loose your Skyss card, you should log in to the webshop as soon as possible and delete the Skyss card from your profile. Any tickets you have bought will still be in the webshop, registered to your profile.

Order a new Skyss card and register this new card to your profile when it arrives. If you have a ticket you need to use before your new card arrives, you can use the receipt from the webshop as your documentation in a ticket inspection.

If you need multiple Skyss cards, you must place an order for each card. Order your Skyss card from skyss.no

When it arrives, register it to your profile in the webshop, and then you can use it as documentation for your tickets.
