Single boat ticket

A single ticket for the boat is valid for a one-way journey on a specific boat route.

You can use a single ticket for the boat when travelling on one of the following boat routes:

  • 192 Måløy-Silda
  • 193 Måløy-Gangsøy-Risøy
  • 290 Kystvegekspressen
  • 391 Hardbakke-Nåra-Mjømna
  • 392 Hardbakke-Kolgrov-Utvær
  • 393 Nord-Solund
  • 394 Gåsvær-Midtre Solund-Hardbakke
  • 395 Gulen-Ytre Solund
  • 1131 Kaupanger-Frønningen
  • 1190 Vik-Ortnevik
  • 1190 Ortnevik-Måren-Nordeide
  • 2078 Austevoll local ferry
  • 2080 Sunnhordland Austevoll

If you are travelling with a single ticket on the Askøy boat, the Nordhordland boat, or the boat routes in the Flora Basin, you must buy a single ticket that is valid for the bus. Here you will find information about the single ticket that is valid for buses, the light rail, and boat routes with zone pricing.

 

 
  • A single boat ticket is valid for a one-way journey on a specific route.
  • The ticket will show the valid transfer time, which will vary depending on the route the ticket is for.
  • You can buy a single boat ticket for adults, children, seniors, students, and military personnel. The price of the ticket increases depending on the length of the route.

Remember, you must always present your ticket when boarding. Be aware that the boat crew and inspectors may ask to see a valid ticket at any point during the journey.

We encourage everyone to buy their ticket in advance. Here’s where you can purchase a single boat ticket:

When you buy a single ticket through the Skyss Ticket app or onboard, the ticket becomes active immediately. In the webshop, you can choose the time from which the ticket should be valid.

When you buy tickets for ten or more people at the same time, you get a 17 percent group discount on adult tickets.

In the Skyss Ticket app and in the the webshop, the group discount is automatically calculated when you purchase the tickets.

Please note:

  • You get a group discount on single adult tickets. The discount cannot be combined with other discounts for boat travel.
  • If the group includes passengers with tickets for children, students, senior and concession holders or military personnel, they will be counted in the total. They do not receive an additional group discount on top of their existing discount, such as the student discount.
  • Children under 6 travel for free.

Bringing cars on board

On some boat routes you can bring a car or other vehicle.

On some boat routes in Sogn og Fjordane you can bring a car or other vehicle. There is limited space for vehicles, so you have to book space in advance. You can book space up to 4 weeks before departure. When you bring a car, you have to be at the dock 10 minutes before departure to not lose your spot.

Remember to cancel the booking if you won't be needing it. You do it from the email you got for confirmation.
