7-, 30- and 180-day boat season tickets

With a season ticket for boats, you can travel as much as you like on the route for which you purchase the ticket.

Here you’ll find everything you need to know about the season tickets valid on boat routes.

You can choose which route the season ticket will be valid for. You can buy a season ticket for the following boat routes:

  • 391 Hardbakke-Nåra-Mjømna
  • 392 Hardbakke-Kolgrov-Utvær
  • 393 Nord-Solund

  • 395 Gulen-Ytre Solund
  • 1131 Kaupanger-Frønningen
  • 1190 Vik-Ortnevik
  • 1190 Ortnevik-Måren-Nordeide
  • 2078 Austevoll local ferry
  • 2080 Sunnhordland-Austevoll-Bergen

If you are travelling with a season ticket on the Askøy boat, the Nordhordland boat, or the routes in the Flora Basin, you must purchase a season ticket that is valid for buses. Here you can find information about the period ticket that applies to buses, light rail, and boat routes with zone pricing.

 

  • The season ticket is valid for 7, 30, or 180 days, and it is valid from a specific time to the same time on the expiry day.
  • You can travel as much as you like during the period on the route for which you have purchased the ticket.
  • You can use the ticket as long as you board while the ticket is valid. If you need to transfer during your journey and the season ticket has expired before boarding the next mode of transport, you will need to buy a new ticket.

Who the ticket applies to

  • You can purchase a season ticket for boat travel for adults, children, senior and concession holders and students. The price increases depending on the length of the route you buy the ticket for.
  • The ticket is non-personal and can be used by others, but it can only be used by one person at a time. Remember that the person using the season ticket must always meet the age and discount criteria; for example, as an adult, you cannot travel with a period ticket intended for a child.
  • To lend a ticket bought via the Skyss Ticket app, you must physically lend your phone. To lend a ticket on a Skyss card, you must lend the actual Skyss card.

Remember to always show your ticket when boarding. Be aware that the boat crew and inspectors may ask to see a valid ticket at any time during the journey.

If you purchase a season ticket in the Skyss online store, you must have a Skyss card. You can order a Skyss card here.

If you travel by bus in combination with a boat route that does not have zone pricing, you will receive a discount if you purchase a combination ticket. The combination ticket consists of a period ticket for one or more bus zones and a period ticket for a specific boat route. You will get a 50 percent discount on the bus ticket.

You can buy the combination ticket in the Skyss webshop and choose whether the ticket should be valid for 7, 30, or 180 days. This type of ticket is not available in the Skyss Ticket app or on board the bus or boat.

Remember that period tickets for buses are also valid on the Askøy boat, the Nordhordland boat, and the boat routes in the Flora Basin. In these cases, you do not need a combination ticket.
